About Vida

Always an artist, even though life took hold and art was put on hold, art is now back in Vida’s life in full force.  Catching up with lost times, a believer that it is never too late to follow your passion.  The artist graduated from University of North Texas with a minor in Art.

Vida is a modern abstract creator with focus on colors, lines, shapes, and a mix of impressionism, and expressionism.  She considers herself a colourist first and foremost.  

Art and creativity have always been an essential part of Vida's life, and lately most of the artist's days are spent creating fine-art paintings. "Art and creativity have always brought a sense of completeness, and purpose to my life, the process of creating something beautiful from an inspiration, brings me joy.  I'm particularly inspired by lush landscape, flowers, nature, and dramatic color palettes. I love the connection that art brings, if I'm able to transport the viewer even for a brief moment to a joyful and happy place, then I feel I've accomplished what I set out to do as an artist."
